Question: well, first off, thanks for listening to the new stuff. Revizal 1 charted #8 on iTunes Electronic Canada chart. So here’s my question: Would you like to see more of the same fare, the Revizal EP type stuff, more serious and dark in nature and tone? During the “Memories” (debut album) sessions in 2019-2020, some tracks were left out. And during this pandemic, spending a lot of time inside, I had worked on a few more tracks. And also as a return to the more lighthearted vibe of “Memories”, perhaps it’s time for those other “new” tracks to be released. Either way, I hope you share some of your thoughts and enjoy listening. Thank you.
Thanks for the support! NFT owners get eternal gratitude and the good feeling that they’re supporting independent artists like me. And also, a % of proceeds will go to various orgs to help fight Climate Change.
If you’re up for a new release in 2020, and you fancy “electronica or electronic music” released in 2020, look no further than checking out Lexic Task’s new album “Memories”, a 13 track sonic journey of uplifting cool tracks and melodies. You can now stream it on 100’s of apps or DSP’s, where you’ll find it on: Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora (US), Deezer, Napster, Tidal, and many more. To stream the playlist on Youtube, see our post on the right column or scroll down. Of course, you can always support your local indie / independent artists, by purchasing or “buying” “Memories” on good ol’ Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, or even Beatport (Yes, we’re on Beatport!). you can find all of the main links to hear our new album here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/lexictask/memories Supporting independent artists whom you enjoy listening to, or whose music you love is vitally important to help the music industry maintain its consistent stream of high quality music. And your support, even through a stream, or sharing your favorite post or music link to your friends and family, can go a long way: if you care, please share. This helps artists by allowing them to continue to make music that you might actually care to listen to, and might help some artists even have a meal or have a roof over their heads. Of course, streaming and royalty rates have been significantly low in recent times, as one of our favorite artists Radiohead are advocating for the “streaming royalty reform” (another great article, check it out here on Stereogum– though we are not affiliated with the article, but do care about the cause). We hope you take the time to check out our album “Memories”, try to give it a listen in depth, and realize that we all need something hopeful or uplifting in difficult times. And if you find something you enjoy within our music, please don’t hesitate to share. Sharing is caring! Thank you for taking the time to listen, to read, and to show your support. Now, I’m off the the studio to continue working on my next project, a new album I hope to release sometime soon.
Lexic Task’s debut full length album “Memories” was released 2 weeks ago, and here’s some news: The lead single “Albeit” has been trending on the Official Spotify Playlist, “Fresh Finds” (now retired), was briefly on “Metropolis” and is now still on the playlist, “Fresh Finds: Basement”.
