The album “Adrift” is out now. A sonic excursion into IDM and ambient soundscapes, Matt tries to explore the darker and edgier side of IDM, yet also peaceful and hopeful moments are brought on by tracks like “Moonlit River” and “Inner Phase”. Lead single “Mammals in Hibernation” demonstrates more glitch-oriented beats and rhythmic programming. Yet with other sonic experiments in digital synthesis, the album explores many emotional elements via the instrumental pieces found within Lexic Task’s second Full LP, “Adrift”.
